Anywhere people gather is at risk of attack from infectious disease. This is particularly true of grocery stores, restaurants, schools, nursing homes, day cares, retail centers and more. These indoor spaces can be loaded with viruses, airborne allergens, bacteria, pathogens and other harmful particles and pollutants.
This is the most common way to spread disease, making people sick, less productive, or absent from work. All are costly to employers, but more importantly, these indoor spaces make our communities vulnerable to an outbreak.
Since we spend 90% of our lives inside, shouldn’t we be paying more attention to the health of our indoor spaces? can’t we find a permanent solution to create healthy buildings?
